Sense of Place - A hostel story
This short documentary intends to investigate the eye of the "outsiders" of the city, particularly those, as the hostel guests, who live the city only for a short period of time. This temporarity however, and outer perspective allow them to provide important considerations about the city as well as on how inclusive design could be interpreted, hence improved.

Without a Pavement
The film highlights the citizens' struggles related to the sidewalks, certainly in the central streets where sidewalks are very narrow, cars are allowed to enter and parking is chaos. Many citizens who walk the streets where the film is made encounter different challenges. Particularly, for those who are in a hurry or coming back from shopping with some bags. Cars barely move due to the congestion, making the situation even worse for people to pass by. The narrow streets in Baku cover a huge area behind the central area from Hazi Alsanov to Bashir Safaroghlu street where plenty of shopping centers, entertainment and leisure facilities, local shops, business centers, embassies, and hotels are centered. The area requires access to a big number of citizens every day and the situation with the sidewalks demotivates many to walk around these streets. In return, people tend to take cabs to their destination and it creates a vicous circle where the cabs worsen the traffic and eventually the overall situation. At the heart of Baku, many are left without a pavement/sidewalk, and the film portrays the real every-day struggles of citizens.

The World And The Flock
The World And The Flock speculates about the capacities of the famous Geneva sheep flock to change our perception of the city. Thus, the flock that roams the gardens of Jardin des Nations, the heart of so called International Geneva, becomes a connecting and form-making element. The project offers an alternative reading, beyond the dispersed, isolated and fenced estates of International Geneva. The circulating flock becomes a spatial factor that is ordering social realtions through the (un)built. Seen, observed, monitored, the event unfolds its impact on multiple channels: from the physical to the digital. Thereby, the public space which nowadays is weakly articulated, scattered and isolated within the city of Geneva, becomes more connected and attractive to both locals and tourists and not only for members of International Geneva. Ingredients Grass, fences, water, trees – everything the flock needs can be found on site. The only missing elements, were a barn and salt for the sheep to winter. The flock is kept on rotating pastures, called padocks. There it grazes for four days before moving on, rotating from land to land, using normal asphalt roads. In the course of one year, the flock visits the United Nations, the U.S. Mission, the Rothschild estate, and many others. Every last weekend of the month, the flock leaves the Jardin des Nations and moves into the city. This urban event reconnects the isolated Jardin des Nations with the city of Geneva which is itself a city of (dis)connected madows.

Happiness in Copenhagen
I explore Copenhagen across some urban spaces free for everyone where is possible to find Happiness and Relax: inclusive spaces for workout/fitness, playground for children and for people who like to play like a child. New public spaces with a wonderful view on the new Architectures. Special Activity parks with more playfulness that inspire movement and that contribute to the best quality of life for everyone. I filmed my mother (75 years old) who jumps, swings and plays to find happiness in these special urban spaces in Copenhagen.

Hey Human
The film is about the city and the citizens leaving the service workers behind. Many people tend to trash the buildings and neighborhoods they live in irresponsibly. In return, there is a big need for service workers and helpers to clean around the mess. Usually, public spaces and most of the buildings are cleaned regularly. It makes the sight seem beautiful and ensures general cleanliness, however, the workers go through really big challenges and bear the load of the hard labor. The worst part is about the payment they get and the public attitude towards the cleaning people and the film addresses these struggles.
