Revival of Bagaicha (Open space)
Open space plays very important role in dense urban areas for maintaining health and wellbeing of people and the environment of the city. Due to rapid urbanization, haphazard development is seen without adequate open spaces. In other hand, the existing open spaces are being encroached and neglected. This video is about the revitalization of one of the open spaces of traditional city, Bagaicha of Lubhoo, Mahalaxmi Municipality, Nepal. The community collaborated with local government and Lumanti (NGO) for participatory process from designing to operation of the garden.

A piece of paper
The animated short film explores the relationship between architecture and the human body - Body and Architecture are both engaged in a “dance” where each adapts to the other and that interplay is expressed by a single piece of paper which wonders through the urban scenery looking for its own shape and identity. The material of the paper unfolds the fragility of the human being.

Hong Kong
DisCover
Hong Kong was claimed to be one of the most energetic cities in the globe with the vase varieties of building environments to meet its dynamic demands of cultural, ethical and demographic diversity. The ever changing city is currently experiencing gradual gentrification. More and more historical buildings were revamped into commercial purposes, while some were converted to cultural grounds. The film discusses the juxtaposition of the development and conservation through a journey of the everyday working class that eventually discovers the disappearance of heritage around the cities. The hybrid management model seeks the balance and solutions of conservation and maintenance. This model making conservation projects works well as 'purikura'- a great selfie machine, but inevitably deprived the core values of local culture. As stakeholders contributing the society, we shall all consider what was “left behind” the revitalization.

Primary Swarm
The video "Primary Swarm" (2020) by Agnieszka Mastalerz and Michał Szaranowicz is staged in a wind tunnel used for analyzing the flow of air. A group of people is moving towards a gate. Their relationship is not clear, they might be competitors. From a standing point, the people start to crawl. Outside, the natural environment represents an actual area in the city of Warsaw, Poland, where new apartments are supposed to be built. The artists wanted to document the current status of the landscape, before its transformation. While witnessing the slow disappearance of a green area of the city, previously available for the community and now passing in private hands, the artists wonder who will be entitled to live in those spaces and how architecture influences forms of collective life.
