A performative lecture workshop at IKEA Vesterbro invites participants to explore atmospheric fatigue through breathing practices, field research and collective choreography inspired by Copenhagen's urban airflows.
Designer and researcher Guoda Šulskytė will introduce her artistic research on Anthropogenic winds and personal experiments with documenting exhausted atmospheres in city landscapes. Participants will then explore the surroundings individually, tracing exhaust vents and fans before translating personal findings and observations into a collective choreographic exercise, embodying both mechanical and natural winds. The sensorial enactments will reflect the fragile dynamics between bodies, machines and the atmosphere.
The workshop is part of the Vilnius-based mentorship programme Experiments’ Platform for emerging spatial practitioners. In 2025 four fellows explore the theme ’Reflecting Abundance’. Through immersive happenings the public is invited into the fellows’ project research in different locations across the city investigating urban velocities, exhausted winds, public baths and economies of wastelands. Following the happenings Experiments’ Platform hosts a discussion on the importance of experiments and alternative education.
Experiments’ Platform was founded in 2021 by the non-profit organisation Architekturos fondas
