As the municipal election campaign rolls on with slogans, speed, and short-term promises, we press the pause button and invite you to a series of public conversations that, in the midst of the political noise, slow down the pace and switch on the long-range headlights: What do the top candidates’ key issues mean for the future of Copenhagen – not just in 5 or 10 years, but also in 50, 100, or 200 years?

In this third edition, you can meet Christopher Røhl from Radikale Venstre.

Together with Byplanlaboratoriet, Copenhagen Architecture Biennial invites you to conversations about democracy, planning, and responsibility that reach far beyond the time frame of an election term. With a selection of urban development experts, we will explore and test what consequences the top candidates’ respective key issues may have for the city’s future.

The conversations will be hosted by urbanist and author Niels Bjørn, and Tina Saaby, director of Byplanlaboratoriet and former city architect of Copenhagen and Gladsaxe. In addition, various experts on the different key issues will be invited into the discussion.
