Daylight Talk: Sense of site, perception of light

Join us as Trine Hedeager Harboe and Malene Hjortsø Kyndesen, partners at Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects, give a Daylight Talk about the studio's practice and the use of daylight in their projects.
Each site and function require a unique perception of daylight. Through four different projects, they will discuss their approaches to working with daylight. For example, at the Natural History Museum of Denmark, light is consciously introduced into specific spaces, creating an intense and focused experience of light. In the upcoming project Viking Ship Museum, the light only enters through minimal tectonic cracks, as the ancient ships cannot withstand direct sunlight.
The Daylight Talk is organized in collaboration between Daylight & Architecture and VILLUM Window Collection.

Kom med, når Trine Hedeager Harboe og Malene Hjortsø Kyndesen, partnere hos Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter, holder Daylight Talk om tegnestuens praksis og brugen af dagslys i deres projekter.

Hver beliggenhed og funktion kræver en unik opfattelse af dagslys. Gennem fire forskellige projekter vil de diskutere deres tilgang til at arbejde med dagslys. For eksempel bliver lyset på Statens Naturhistoriske Museum bevidst ført ind i særlige rum og skaber en intens og fokuseret lysoplevelse. I det kommende projekt Vikingeskibsmuseet trænger lyset kun ind gennem minimale tektoniske sprækker, da de gamle skibe ikke tåler direkte sollys.

Daylight Talk’en er arrangeret i et samarbejde mellem Daylight & Architecture og VILLUM Window Collection.
