Exhibition: RIFT - Regenerative Ideas For Tomorrow

Exhibition
Credit:

This pop-up exhibition explores the potential of regenerative building practices and biogenic materials in a Nordic context.

It presents a snapshot from the Nordics—straw, hemp, reed, seaweed, mycelium and mussel shells. Together with representatives from across the region, RIFT explores the sensory qualities of these materials, map their histories and potential, and ask: what pathways open up for developing new methods and building cultures?

RIFT is an artistic research project exploring how we can build in symbiosis with nature, using biogenic materials sourced from the Nordic landscape. Through built examples, material samples and experimental prototypes, we map regenerative practices across the region and explore how local resources can shape an architecture that is ecological, tactile and deeply rooted in place.
