HouseEurope! takes over Barn Again: Salon Building for Community

Conversation

EN:

What if building was first and foremost about people — not property?

This salon brings together Emergency Architecture & Human Rights (EAHR) and Vi Fællesskaber Vores By – Gellerup to discuss how architecture can foster social justice, resilience, and community.

EAHR works internationally with architecture as a tool for human rights and empowerment, while Vi Fællesskaber Vores By – Gellerup explores how art and co-creation can strengthen local identity and social sustainability in urban transformation processes.

In the spirit of HouseEurope!, the conversation unfolds around the softer tools of change — participation, culture, and shared ownership — and how these can replace demolition as a means of renewal.

DA:
