In this masterclass, we delve into the distinctive architecture that defines one of Copenhagen’s most iconic buildings – Thorvaldsens Museum.
The museum’s senior curator, Margrethe Floryan, will guide you through its fascinating history – from architect Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll’s sketchbooks and meticulously composed earth-tone palettes to his inspiration from the visual worlds of antiquity and the Renaissance, as well as grand, Pompeian villa complexes.
