From Shipyard Halls to Artist Collective

Open House
Credit:

Step inside the vibrant artist collective at Skabelonloftet, where architecture meets contemporary art in an inspiring setting above the old shipyard halls of Refshaleøen.

During Open House, visitors are invited into the studios of visual artists, architects, photographers, and ceramicists. Meet for example Danish visual artist Sara Mathilde Øster, known for her large-scale works and site-specific pieces created with the method: for the place, at the place, about the place.
Explore how artistic practices unfold in dialogue with space, history, and materiality in this unique environment.
