The Stevnsfort Cold War Museum is located approximately 18 to 20 meters beneath the surface, carved directly into the limestone cliffs of Stevns Klint and served as a key NATO command center. In this unique concert-walk, percussionist Ying-Hsueh Chen guides you to sonically explore the museum’s authentic Cold War-era military complex, including its long tunnels and machine rooms. Here, nothing is ordinary—Dripping water and the deep hum of massive dehumidifiers become "collaborators" in the performance. The space’s acoustics both absorb and challenge the percussion, transforming the so-called "noise" into music. Boundaries between instruments and environment dissolve, and sound and space emerge anew, as time seems to stand still.
