Inaccessibility and Ableist Structures in the Art Field

UKK Art Workers with Disabilities invites you to preview work from their growing project to map their access to the art sector, with an artist talk by Victor Vejle on the subject.

Anthony Dexter Giannelli

For our able-bodied peers it is often difficult to fully comprehend the limitations  inaccessibility places on our use of space, while we may live in the same urban environments, the livable space that is available to all is a small fraction of what it should be. For us with disabilities within the art field, this environment of inaccessibility cuts us off from vital resources and opportunities necessary for success in our chosen careers. UKK Art Workers with Disabilities invites you to preview work from our growing project to map our access to the art sector, with an artist talk by Victor Vejle on the subject.
