From Brewery to Boutique Hotel - Sunday

Open House
Credit:

Once the birthplace of the world-famous Carlsberg beer, now a 4+ star design-led boutique hotel — this is Hotel Ottilia by Brøchner Hotels.

Located in the heart of the Carlsberg City District, the hotel brings new life to two iconic industrial buildings: the former malt chamber and the historic brewery. Original silos, raw concrete, golden discs, and signature round windows are just some of the preserved elements that define the architecture.

Hotel Ottilia stands as a bold example of how heritage and modern design can merge — transforming industrial legacy into an award-winning architectural landmark.
