Wonderful Copenhack - A City in the Fast Lane

Installation

EAHR proposes a mobile installation as a engaging, ironic response to CAFx’s 2025 theme “Slow Down.” Building on the visual identity of our earlier Wonderful Copenhack campaign, this scaled-down concept takes the form of a mobile tourist cart that pops up in public space or outside a festival venue. The stand plays with the familiar tropes of official tourist infrastructure, offering passersby a moment of curiosity, satire, and reflection. Designed to look welcoming but offbeat, the cart distributes hacked tourist maps of Copenhagen and other merchandize that humorously highlight the city’s temporal and spatial contradictions. the cart can be staffed during peak hours. We need to secure a minimum of co-funding for production costs.
