Ga Opi: Lifeline for All
Ga opi: Natural springs are the lifeline of water security in most of the Himalayan region. People depend on this spring for domestic and irrigation purposes. Nowadays due to climate change and changes in land use, most of the springs are drying up. So, the preservation of such natural springs is crucial for future generations. The video demonstrates a case of how a natural spring had been functioning and how the community came together to save such a natural spring named Ga Opi at Lubhoo, Mahalaxmi municipality, Nepal.

The short film is about a girl that breaks her glases and has to rush to her oral exam. She is trying to find her way to the exam room, while dealing with low vision. Along the way she notices a lot of improvable spots in the building.

Evolved as an audiovisual collaboration, ‘Spectre’ is an artistic depiction of megalopolis tension on an individual. A reflection on urbanization and overpopulation in hyperbolized scale. A ghost of the foreseeable future questioning a significance of one’s role in the giant mechanism. Shot mostly in Kyiv, Ukraine.

A Space Between
In a "Space Between", Sophia talks about her personal experiences at the "Kalvebod Waves" in Copenhagen. Between tall buildings and noisy streets, the artist makes her way to the harbour where she spent a lot of time during her Erasmus: "The harbour of Copenhagen is like the Central Park for me". Sophia originally comes from a suburb near New York. In this public space she feels a safety in numbers as a queer person. She likes to spend time alone, but also with her best friend Isa. Leah Meinhof directed, filmed and edited the short documentary. Sophia Livecchi tells her personal story.
