SLOW COMMONS: Alternatives to Copenhagen (Game 1)

Do you want to play a game about Copenhagen?

It may seem that the game of the city has been decided. But it is an open-ended game. Other futures are possible. Futures that might be found in the archives of this and other cities; in citizens' attempts to slow down the pace of development, to reuse what is already there, to repair what has been broken, and to built something together.

In this, the first of three games, the players introduce themselves and their play elements: experiences with or stories about commons and collectives, self-built environments and self-organized communities, street art and performances.

Det kan se ud, som om spillet om byen allerede er afgjort. Men det er et åbent spil. Andre fremtider er mulige. Fremtider, der måske kan findes i arkiverne over denne og andre byer; i borgeres forsøg på at sænke udviklingens tempo, genbruge det, der allerede findes, reparere det, der er blevet ødelagt, og bygge noget sammen.

I dette, det første af tre spil, introducerer spillerne sig selv og deres spilleelementer: erfaringer med eller fortællinger om fællesskaber og kollektiver, selvbyggede miljøer og selvorganiserede fællesskaber, gadekunst og performances.
