Join us for the annual Kulturnat, in collaboration with Thorvaldsens Museum, and experience the museum’s iconic facade transformed into a striking light installation, created especially for this evening.

Thorvaldsens Museum is known for its striking orange and the intricate paintings on the facade. It is a striking example of Danish historicism with an obvious Italian inspiration.
On this year’s Kulturnat, you can experience what happens when a building from 1839–48 gets reimagined by contemporary visual artists. This year, Vertigo, who have done light art for a host of Danish artists and on significant buildings across the country, will make Thorvaldsens facade come alive in a whole new way, playing with what happens when objects from inside the museum get beamed up on the facade.
Swing by and experience a Copenhagen architectural classic in a whole new way. Everyone is welcome to join us and light up the night! Bring your friends and family and enjoy an evening of art, light, and culture together.
To participate in Kulturnat, you need a Kulturpas for yourself and your family.
