Danmarkspremiere: Air Conditioner

Kom med når vi stiller skarpt på den afrikanske mega-by Luanda og inviterer til Danmarkspremiere på Geração 80’s prisvindende film ‘Air Conditioner’, efterfulgt af bar og dj-set.

Da air conditioners i den angolanske hovedstad Luanda på mystisk vis begynder at falde én efter én, tager filmens protagonister Matacedo og Zezinha på en mission for at fikse chefens air conditioner ved udgangen af ​​dagen. Denne mission leder dem til Kota Minos elforsyningsbutik, hvor han i al hemmelighed er i gang med at bygge en kompleks maskine, der genskaber hukommelser. ‘Air Conditioner’ er en rejse gennem mystik og virkelighed, en kritik af sociale klasser og et portræt af, hvordan vi lever sammen i vertikale håb, i hjertet af en by, der både er fortid-nutid-fremtid.

Forud for filmvisningen vil arkitekt og ph.d.-stipendiat Margarida Waco tegne et portræt af den afrikanske megaby, byens kulturhistoriske lag og udviklingsparadigmer. Visningen efterfølges af drinks fra Soulitate Chaibar og musik leveret af dj-kollektivet Urban Connection.
