Henning Larsen: En holistisk tilgang til arkitektur og bæredygtighed

Henning Larsen og KAB inviterer sammen på en eksklusiv rundvisning i KABs nye hus på Vesterbro.

Lad dig ikke snyde af det ydmyge ydre: bag den håndmurede teglfacade på KABs nye hovedkvarter gemmer sig et hus med store armbevægelser. Henning Larsen har leveret en holistisk designløsning, hvor arkitektur, indretning og en ny grafisk identitet sammen med landskabsdesign leveret af SLA skaber rammen om et ressourceeffektivt og fremtidssikret kontorhus. Fra dets unikke placering midt i byen og tilknyttede ladestandere til genbrugte materialer fra nedrevne bygninger og gulv produceret af restproduktet fra en chokoladefabrik, gennemsyrer bæredygtighed hele bygningen.


Og på trods af, at KAB-Huset er mindre end foreningsfællesskabets gamle lokaler, giver det nye kontorhus stadig plads til at lokalsamfundet også kan bruge stedet – både inde og ude.


Kom med indenfor når Rolf Andersson, byggedirektør hos KAB, og Signe Kongebro, Global Design Director hos Henning Larsen, giver et indblik i et unikt samarbejde om at tegne et nyt hjem – ikke kun til KABs knap 450 medarbejdere, men også som et sted, hvor boligforeninger, lejere og boligsøgende i hele København føler sig velkomne.
