Kunst og arkitektur: Byen i Sandkassen – udvikling af byen som social praksis (DA)

Hvordan kan vi begynde at lave en by der fra hvor vi er? Kan byens legepladser være i centrum af en mere aktiv og omsorgsfuld byplanlægning?

Mød billedkunstnerne Margarita del Carmen og Kristian Byskov som er forfattere til den netop udkomne bog Byen i Sandkassen – udvikling af byen som social praksis. De vil fortælle om deres research og ideer for byplanlægning hvor aktivisme, leg og børn går op i en højere enhed. 

I deres undersøgelse til Byen i Sandkassen har Margarita del Carmen og Kristian Byskov ladet forskellige discipliner mødes: tanker fra billedkunst møder pædagogiske metoder, byrumsteorier og aktivistiske strategier. Desuden fortæller de om København som en by med en lang historie når det kommer til legepladser og aktivisme.  

I Byen i Sandkassen spiller Københavns Bemandede Legepladser en vigtig rolle som struktur for hvad forfatterne kalder ”en pædagogisk udvikling af byen”. Her søger de at se byen fra børns perspektiv – en by der udvikles i hverdagen af de som lever i den.

Mød forfatterne bag bogen Margarita del Carmen og Kristian Byskov i samtale med  stadsarkitekt Camilla van Deurs.
