My Two Voices er en poetisk refleksion over den menneskelige identitets flydende natur og hvordan vi formes af de steder vi færdes i fra dag til dag og ikke mindst i fortiden. Filmen fortæller gennem et tæt væv af smukt filmede detaljer som hænder, objekter og værelser, historien om tre latinamerikanske kvinders komplekse virkelighed som immigranter i Canada. Deres individuelle og fælles oplevelser danner grundlag for en sanselig undersøgelse af hovedpersonernes hybride og splittede identiteter. Hvis du, ligesom os, er interesseret i forholdet mellem identitet, erindring og sted, så er My Two Voices en film for dig. Inden visningen vil der være en introduktion, der perspektiverer filmen til årets tema ‘Stedsans’.
