Nye forbindelser til naturen – fremtidens byer er biobaserede

Debat mellem førende praktikere og forskere indenfor biobaserede byggematerialer og fremtidens grønne byudvikling.

Hvorfor er det nødvendigt for arkitekter at gå ind i udviklingen af nye materialer, og hvordan det vil påvirke den måde, vi bygger på? Hvordan kan naturen inspirere vores tilgang til bygninger og byudvikling? Hvordan rykker vi grænsen mellem natur og arkitektur?

I panelet kan du møde: Lektor Phil Ayres fra CITA, Det Kongelige Akademi – Arkitektur, Design, Konservering, der netop har fået bevilget 18 mio. af EU til forskning i brugen af CO2-neutrale biobaserede materialer i arkitektur og har igangværende ambitiøse forskningsprojekter som FUNGAR, der arbejder med at anvende mycelium som intelligent byggemateriale. Daniel Philip Veenboer fra tegnestuen EFFEKT, der samarbejder med bl.a. Cornell, Home.Earth og NREP omkring et projekt, hvor ambitionen er at omdanne affald til byggematerialer. Alexandra Vindfeld Hansen, landskabsarkitekt og leder af tegnestuen SLA's forsknings- og udviklingsindsatser, der bygger bro mellem forskning og praksis.

Moderator: Professor Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen (leder af CITA, Det Kongelige Akademi – Arkitektur, Design, Konservering). Debatten foregår på engelsk.

Efter debatten vises filmen The Creeping Garden af Tim Grabham og Jasper Sharp fra 2014, 80 min.

Arrangementet rundes af med et glas i Asta Bar.
