Verdenspremiere: Another Kind of Knowledge – Portræt af Dorte Mandrup

Se resultatet af en samtale, der siden 2017 har åbnet op for både indre og ydre landskaber, og som derudover er blevet en fascinerende fortælling om arkitekturens væsen og vilkår i dag.

Hun har en særlig stedsans. Hun bringer en skulpturel kvalitet til sine bygninger og insisterer på, at arkitektur skal afspejle nutiden. Af og til tager hun bladet fra munden – også når det gælder andet end sit fag. Dorte Mandrup har i årevis haft stjernestatus på den skandinaviske arkitekturhimmel, og efterhånden er også den internationale arkitekturverden ved at få øjnene op for tegnestuen, der hører til i en baggård på Vesterbrogade. Men hvem er Dorte Mandrup? Hvad har formet hende? Hvordan går hun til sine projekter? Hvad er det, hun kan? Disse spørgsmål har været udgangspunktet for Louisiana Channel, der har en særlig tilgang til deres karakteristiske portrætfilm, hvor det er kunstneren selv, der sætter ord på det hele.

Til åbningsarrangement i Grand Teatret d. 6. oktober kl. 19.00. Visningen efterfølges af en samtale mellem arkitekt Dorte Mandrup og geolog Minik Rosing om forholdet til Grønland, til naturen og kulturen. Modereret af Anna Ingrisch. Herefter serverer festivalen et glas til gæsterne.
