Vi Fællesskaber Vores By: Gellerup

Efter to ugers intensiv forløb med arkitekter, antropologer, byudviklere, designere og kunstnere vil syv unge fra Gellerup udstille og invitere ind til paneldebat

Der sker en masse nyt i Gellerup de seneste år med nedrivninger, nye bygninger, nye pladser, nye parker, nye skoler, nye aktiviteter, fraflytninger og tilflytninger. Det kan virke overvældende, når man bor midt i det – hvad foregår der? Hvorfor? Og hvem er med til at bestemme, hvordan det skal være? De unges tanker, samtaler, ideer og arkitekturmodeller udstilles på KØN - Gender Museum Denmark som led i en alliance med Aarhus Kommunes udvalg for demokrati og mangfoldighed. Modellerne udstilles torsdag den 14. oktober i forbindelse med et valgmøde, som de unge selv skal være værter for sammen med museet. De unge bestemmer dagsordenen, som givetvis vil tage inspiration fra Vi Fællesskaber Vores By-forløbet.

Vi Fællesskaber Vores By er et treårigt projekt, der er støttet af Slots-og Kulturstyrelsen og Realdania. Projektet sætter fokus på, hvordan arkitektur og byudvikling også handler om at forstå egne og andres behov om tryghed og tilhørsforhold i og omkring boligområderne i Gellerup og Toveshøj i Aarhus.

18.00-18.50: Fernisering
19.00-20.00 Åben samtale med unge fra projektet 'Vi Fællesskaber Gellerup' modereret af visuel antropolog og initiativtager til Soulitate Chairbar Shubhdeep Singh Parwana
