Ying-Hsueh Chen: En arkitektonisk koncert-vandring

Copenhagen Architecture Festival x Thorvaldsens Museum

Fordyb dig i en verden, der rækker ud over tid og rum, når percussionist og performer Ying-Hsueh Chen, præsenterer nutidige, rituelle, ur improviserede, klassiske værker af J. S. Bach og det ikonisk slagtøjsværk ‘Rebonds’ af den græske arkitekt og komponist Iannis Xenakis. Hvert værk tilpasses forskellige rum på museet; lyde af træ, sten, metal og skind, der smelter ind i den magiske atmosfære på Thorvaldsens Museum og bliver til et stort Gesamtkunstwerk.


PERFORMANCEPROGRAM

Kom med til tre forskellige performances under Copenhagen Architecture Festival på Thorvaldsen's Museum:

Den 8. oktober, når kunstner Nina Beier præsenterer sin performance 'Drama' på museet, og kunstner Bob Kil præsenterer sin performance Chameleon: et ikke-rave rave i Thorvaldsens indre gård, hvor Thorvaldsen selv ligger begravet.

Den 13. oktober, når vi inviterer på arkitektonisk koncert-vandring med percussionist Ying-Hsueh Chen.


I år har festivalen flere forskellige begivenheder på Thorvaldsens Museum, Bindesbølls ikoniske byggeri, der danner ramme for Bertel Thorvaldsens skulpturer og private samlinger. De inviterede kunstneres værker forholder sig på forskellige måder til årets tema ‘Omsorgens Landskaber’.


Museumsentréen er gratis om onsdagen, derfor er hele arrangementet gratis at deltage i.
