Design with acoustics in mind

Step inside DR Concert Hall and experience the stunning architecture, where design and function come together in perfect harmony. Designed by the french architect Jean Nouvel.

The tour includes a visit to the Concert Hall, a magnificent space where warm wooden panels surround the room, creating both an elegant and intimate atmosphere. Designed with acoustics in mind, the hall offers a rich, natural resonance that elevates the music to new heights and envelops the audience in a complete sound experience. Here, architecture and sonic artistry meet in a harmonious balance, making every concert truly special.

The tour also includes a visit to Studio 2, an impressive and versatile space where the characteristic wooden panels not only create a warm and inviting atmosphere but also serve as essential acoustic elements. Musicians from various genres come here to create and record music in a room that inspires creativity while ensuring crystal-clear sound. The studio’s flexible design accommodates everything from large orchestras to intimate live performances, with every corner thoughtfully crafted to bring music to life in the most authentic way.

Additionally, you'll get to see Studio 3, a smaller and more intimate space, well-suited for small ensembles and soloists.

We’ll end with a brief look inside the sound control rooms, where the technical side of production ensures the audio is always top-notch.

Whether you love music, architecture, or are simply curious, this tour offers a unique insight into the magical world of sound.

Registration is required.
