BOOGIE – Evren Tekinoktay

Exhibition
Credit:
Simon Baunsgård

BOOGIE is an exhibition driven by intuition – both as a method and as a mood that resonates with the viewer. With a practice that extends beyond traditional art forms, Evren Tekinoktay moves freely between visual art, design, perfume, and lingerie. Her work across domains, media, and materials weaves together narratives and invites the audience into a multilayered universe – drawing, among other things, on her Danish-Turkish heritage. Experience a poetic and sensuous world composed of glowing neon works, hand-knotted rugs, and intricate collages. In BOOGIE, the distinctive architecture of Nikolaj Kunsthal is actively integrated – not just as a backdrop, but as a collaborator in the staging and formation of the artworks. Obs: vi har også DK
