City Shrine

Installation
Credit:
Dicki Lakha

City shrine is a place of contemplation, a movement - a prayer. An invitation to slow down and place your intention in a movement. The installation is an interpretation of the Tibetan prayer wheel. While spinning each wheel you are invited to send an intention into our world and the prayer wheel will work as a vehicle for your prayer. Traditionally you pray for all living beings. To dispel the miseries of the world.

Architect and scenographer Dicki Lakha has a Tibetan background which she draws on in this installation. Merging the Tibetan culture and architecture with modern materials.
She invites everybody to engage no matter belief or background.

Open 24/7

DAN:

Traditionelt beder man for alle levende væsener. For at fordrive verdens lidelser.
