Engaging Ancient Practices for Uncertain Futures

This workshop explores the blending of folklore and native science understandings with practices of weaving and composting. We will investigate interrelations between non-modern worldviews and these ancient methods. The workshop objective is to empower participants through the exploration of potent, accessible and relevant blended practices that can foster alternative ways of ‘being-and-doing’ grounded upon principles of restoration, regeneration and slowing down.

Through the intersection of theory with hands-on practice with Kagome weaving and composting, participants will gain knowledge and skills that can act as a foundation for personal and community flourishing.

Denne workshop udforsker sammensmeltningen af folklore og oprindelige vidensformer med praksisser som vævning og kompostering. Vi skal undersøge sammenhænge mellem ikke-moderne verdenssyn og disse gamle metoder. Workshoppen har til formål at styrke deltagerne gennem udforskningen af kraftfulde, tilgængelige og relevante kombinerede praksisser, der kan fremme alternative måder at ‘være og gøre’ på – forankret i principper om genopretning, regenerering og det at sætte tempoet ned.

Gennem samspillet mellem teori og praktisk arbejde med Kagome-fletning og kompostering vil deltagerne opnå viden og færdigheder, der kan danne grundlag for både personlig og fællesskabsmæssig trivsel.
