Evening without Borders - Empowering Architecture

How do we slow down architecture to harness its potential for solidarity? At the 2025 CAFx Biennale, Architects Without Borders invites you to an Evening Without Borders, where recent architecture graduates show how to trade quick fixes for patient, well-considered, empathetic solutions - and how time, proximity, and care can reshape design. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion on architecture for the vulnerable, where we’ll explore what to pause, reuse, and relearn so we can create human-centric architecture that truly cares for people. We welcome everyone working at the intersection of design and human development to learn, share, and be inspired with us.

Hvordan kan vi sænke tempoet i arkitekturen for at udnytte dens potentiale for solidaritet? På CAFx Biennalen 2025 inviterer Arkitekter Uden Grænser til En Aften Uden Grænser, hvor nyuddannede arkitekter viser, hvordan man kan bytte hurtige løsninger ud med tålmodige, velovervejede og empatiske tilgange – og hvordan tid, nærhed og omsorg kan omforme design.

Præsentationerne efterfølges af en paneldebat om arkitektur for de sårbare, hvor vi vil undersøge, hvad vi skal standse op ved, genbruge og genlære, så vi kan skabe menneskecentreret arkitektur, der virkelig tager hånd om mennesker.

Vi byder alle, der arbejder i krydsfeltet mellem design og menneskelig udvikling, velkommen til at lære, dele og blive inspireret sammen med os.
