every step tells a story

Guided Tour
Credit:

Walking workshop. Participants will be invited on a walk through the neighborhood of the Architecture Forum. I will script from the perspective of the outsider. The outsider offers the unfamiliar voice. They are experiencing the city for the first time, the details of the urban environment that are overlooked by the familiar become visible to the unfamiliar eye offering an unfiltered position from which to begin an experiential approach to sensing the city. The walk will begin with a prompt intended to heighten our awareness to details, following sounds, smells, paths, people and shadows they are re/introduced to their surroundings. Slow walking allows one to experience feet first, step by step the city.
