Non-Profit Housing under Transformation - Saturday

Open House
Credit:

Experience the new Mjølnerparken and the changes that have taken place following the renovation of the area, which is still taking shape. Following the Danish government's 'parrallelsamfundslov' the non-profit housing has during the past years undergone a physical transformation and relocation of residents.

An area in transformation

With the renovation, courtyards have been enclosed, giving the area the feel of typical Copenhagen blocks, and selected blocks have been fitted with rooftop terraces. New road layouts, along with pedestrian and cycling paths, will create better connections for residents and visitors to the rest of Nørrebro, and a new shopping street will be established. Come and see Mjølnerparken as it looks now.
