Campfire Cooking and King Frederik VII’s Bunker on Refshaleøen

Guided Tour
Credit:
Wonderland

ENG:

Come and experience one of Copenhagen’s last authentic places, untouched by glass and steel.

The Bunker was built by King Frederik VII about 200 years ago and has served as a fortification and ammunition depot. Nestled beneath trees and forest at the tip of Refshaleøen, the Bunker has found new and exciting life—without demolition or flashy modern renovation.

Now, the Bunker is home to art, design, and events. The creative agency Wonderland has taken over the space and transformed it into a creative slow oasis in the city’s hectic pulse.

Join us for a guided tour inside the Bunker, a welcome drink, a vegetarian stew cooked over an open fire, wine, water or beer, and music that will get you dancing. There will be affordable bar prices afterward.

The event takes place both outdoors and indoors.

It is possible to pay at the venue if tickets have not been bought in advance.

The bunker tour begins at 17:00 and approximately at 18:00 there is food.
