Sensing the City: Sensory Twilight Walks Exploring Urban Spaces in New Ways

Guided Tour

"Sensing the City" is an interdisciplinary duo offering a series of twilight walks dedicated to the senses. When we talk about architecture and urban spaces, we often end up speaking in the language of reason, forgetting that we experience the world around us with our whole body – not just the brain. On a twilight walk, we will explore the city’s spaces in new and exciting ways.

The walk is designed for everyone and open to all ages. We will explore Vesterbro with low-fi props, starting and ending at Absalon Community House. After the walk, participants can gather in a room in the community house and possibly enjoy a refreshment while settling in and talking about the experience.

The walk is led by cultural historian Anders Larsen and architect Ida Marie Wedfall.
