Lynetteholm is the largest construction project in Danish history to date. A new artificial peninsula is to be built off Copenhagen Harbor to alleviate the housing shortage and establish storm surge protection and a new harbor tunnel. But the infrastructure project has a major impact on nature and wildlife in the Baltic Sea.

The climate movement is suing the Danish state over the billion-dollar construction project, demanding that construction be halted due to inadequate environmental assessment and hasty political decisions. Their two lawyers, Eskil Nielsen and Jonas Christoffersen, are going to the High Court to fight for democracy, the environment, and the rule of law. But can the legal system bring about real change in a time marked by climate crisis?

After the film you can experience a Q&A with the director Naja Andersen.
