Kvinde kend din kamp!

Lær Sydhavnens arbejderkvarter at kende når vi, med udgangspunkt i arkitektur og vejnavne, hører om lokale og nationale ligestillingshelte, levende formidlet af den lokale arkitekt og ildsjæl Rikke Rohr.

Kom med på en spændende rejse gennem ligestillingens historie når arkitekt Rikke Rohr viser rundt i Sydhavnens frodige arbejderkvarter. Her fortæller hun om markante og inspirerende kvinder (og en enkelt mand), der gennem tiden har bidraget til øget ligestilling i samfundet. Nogle er nulevende lokale forbilleder, andre nationale berømtheder der har fået veje opkaldt efter sig.

Vi skal bl.a. høre om stifteren af Kvindeligt Arbejderforbund, den lokale præsts arbejde med fædregrupper og besøge tre marokkanske søstre der gennem deres café påvirker en hel by. Vi kommer også omkring Natalie Zahle, der revolutionerede det danske skolesystem, den lokale teaterleder der vender forfalden arkitektur til inkluderende teater, abortlægen Doktor Leunbach og kollegiet Solbakken, der blev det første kollegium i Danmark for studerende med børn.
