Kan København fungere uden biler?

I samarbejde med Dansk Arkitektur Center spørger vi: Er det overhovedet realistisk at få en by til at fungere (næsten) uden biler?
JAJA Architects har undersøgt scenariet og diskuterer med politikerne i optakten til det kommende kommunalvalg.


Når København modtager international hæder, turisterne kigger i brochurer og guidebøger, og politikere formulerer deres visioner, så fremstår bilen blot som en slags parentes. Et godt og sundt byliv rimer nemlig dårligt på pladsmangel og partikelforurening, og det er en ubestridelig sandhed, at bilerne optager store mængder af byens sparsomme areal.

Men med 38.000 flere biler i København alene det sidste årti, er der ikke meget, der tyder på, at bilen reelt er på vej ud af byen. Løsningen på problemet bliver derfor et tema præget af dilemmaer i det kommende kommunalvalg.

JaJa Architects
præsenterer deres bud på “Bilfrihed” og sammen med Ole Birk Olesen, Liberal Alliance, og overborgmesterkandidat Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, Socialdemokratiet, diskuterer Anne Katrine Harders, DAC, om et (næsten) bilfrit København overhovedet er et realistisk scenarie.
