Norrøn: A New Arctic Chapter - towards a local voice

Kom og vær med, når vi inviterer indenfor i NORRØNs nye lokaler i en tidligere tekstilfabrik til en udstilling om Grønland og tegnestuens projekter på den omdiskuterede arktiske kampplads.

I lyset af de problemstillinger, der aktuelt kendetegner udviklingen af Grønland som turismedestination, sætter NORRØN under CAFx2021 skarpt fokus på det nye arktiske kapitel. Det sker gennem en kunstnerisk og arkitektonisk artikulering af – og en samfundsmæssig stillingtagen til – hvad det nye kapitel skal indeholde, og hvordan det skal rundes af, ikke mindst i fysisk forstand. Under overskriften “A New Arctic Chapter” slår NORRØN dørene op til deres tegnestue på Tagensvej med en udstilling, der tager afsæt i tre aktuelle projekter i Grønland. I centrum af hvert af de tre projekter er den grønlandske sten, der udvindes lokalt og bearbejdes på forskellig vis i hvert projekt. Stenen er fortolket i tre store afstøbninger i 1:50.
