Rumlig feministisk slægtsforskning

Copenhagen Architecture Festival x LOUISIANA: Køn og arkitektur

Soft Agency

FOREDRAG

Architects are often taught that everything is architecture. That they are educated in a discipline with no boundaries, which reaches all aspects of life, which takes up all manners of space, positive and negative, inside and outside. Feminisms have called into question, challenged, and expanded the production and reproduction of space through various experiments that address who gets to build but also insists on an address of how we build. We reflect on this question from our own practice, which is predominantly public, but is also extitutional. Soft Agency works from Jane Rendell's definition of critical spatial practice as a disciplinary starting point to allow for art and architecture to hold a place in between, to allow for theory and practice to meet in space. We follow Rosi Braidotti in her proclamation “Think the continuum, not the division!”

Dagens program:

- Kl. 11.30 - 12.30: Rumlig feministisk slægtsforskning

- Kl. 12.35 - 13.05: Kønsbias i byrummet

- Kl. 13.30 - 15.25: Far from Heaven

- Kl. 15.40 - 16.35: Kvinder i dansk arkitektur

- Kl. 16.40 - 18.00: Dorte Mandrup 'Another Kind of Knowledge'
