Guided Tour

ENG:

Byvækstvandring is a guided tour about urban development in Hedehusene, created in collaboration with the Lokalhistorisk Akriv/Kroppedal Museum, Byudviklingsteamet Høje-Taastrup Kommune, Hedehusene Bibliotek, and local residents—on both sides of the railway tracks.

Hedehusene has undergone rapid urban transformation, with its population having doubled over the past ten years. The railway cuts through the town, separating the old town center of Hedehusene on one side and the newly built district Nærheden on the other—a striking and contrasting urban landscape that directly engages with this year’s central Biennale theme: Slow Down.
