I denne masterclass dykker vi ned i den særegne arkitektur, der kendetegner et af Københavns mest ikoniske bygningsværker – Thorvaldsens Museum.

Museets overinspektør, Margrethe Floryan, guider dig gennem museets fascinerende historie – fra arkitekt Michael Gottlieb Bindesbølls skitsehæfter og minutiøst sammensatte jordfarveskalaer til hans inspiration fra oldtidens og renæssancens billedverden og prægtige, pompejanske villakomplekser.

Kom ind og tilbring en eftermiddag på museet, hvor der er tid til at fordybe sig i de geometriske gulve, de dekorerede lofter og de faglige indsigter.

Entré til museet samt kaffe og kage er inkluderet i prisen.

In this masterclass, we delve into the distinctive architecture that defines one of Copenhagen’s most iconic buildings – Thorvaldsens Museum.

The museum’s senior curator, Margrethe Floryan, will guide you through its fascinating history – from architect Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll’s sketchbooks and meticulously composed earth-tone palettes to his inspiration from the visual worlds of antiquity and the Renaissance, as well as grand, Pompeian villa complexes.
