On Friday, the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial won the Danish Association of Architects’ “Lille Arne” prize for advancing architecture as social responsibility.

February 2, 2026

On Friday, the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial received the “Lille Arne” Prize for creating a platform that advances architecture as social responsibility, challenges habitual thinking, promotes the “slow,” and brings together professionals and citizens from around the world.

We thank all our amazing supporters, partners and collaborators, the many diverse contributors to the programme, and everyone on our extended biennial team. And of course Arkitektforeningen and the jury.

The reception of the inaugural Biennial has been incredible and we cannot wait to be back in 2027!

Until then, check out all of our amazing annual work. The new exhibition Soft Civic Infrastructures opens 19th of February.
